In most cases, yes. We custom-mix stains on-site to blend new boards with existing ones. This is one of the most common requests we get in older Nashville homes — adding a room addition or replacing a damaged section and making it disappear into the existing floor.
Solid hardwood is one solid piece of wood, top to bottom. Engineered hardwood has a real wood top layer bonded to a stable core. Solid is beautiful and can be refinished many times, but engineered performs better in basements, over concrete slabs, and in humid environments. We'll recommend the right one for your specific home.
Yes. Rigid-core LVP and LVT are completely waterproof — not just water-resistant. That makes them ideal for bathrooms, kitchens, basements, and mudrooms. And with today's printing technology, you'd be hard-pressed to tell it apart from real wood or stone without touching it.
